The machine wobbles or shakes during high-speed engraving, especially when engraving at speeds above 400 mm/s. The workbench may also shake noticeably during operation.
At high engraving speeds, the rapid movement and direction changes of the laser head generate greater inertial forces.
If the machine is placed on a lightweight, unstable, or flexible workbench, these forces can cause the machine and workbench to vibrate.
Make sure the machine is placed on a stable, level, and sturdy workbench.
Check that the machine is securely positioned and that the workbench does not move or shake easily.
Test the machine at a lower engraving speed. If the vibration is significantly reduced, the workbench stability is likely contributing to the issue.
If necessary, increase the stability or weight of the workbench.
If the machine continues to wobble on a stable workbench, check the belts, panels, and other mechanical components for looseness.
Note: Some vibration at very high engraving speeds can be caused by machine inertia and does not necessarily indicate a machine fault. Improving the stability of the workbench can significantly reduce the vibration.
Important Reminder:
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please submit a support ticket on ZOHO: https://zohodesk.1laser.com/portal/en/newticket. A technician will then be able to conduct a more in-depth diagnosis and resolve your problem.
